Indoor Garden
SUGA partnered with Growgreen to design and manufacture a smart indoor garden to enable people to grow their own vegetables and herbs at home.
The garden, called aspara™, was packed with sensors and employed both advanced LED lighting and an automatic ebb-and-flow watering system to create the ideal environment for plants to grow. In addition, it featured a removable growing tray, a nutrient measurement probe and an easy-fill water reservoir. For convenience, it could be controlled remotely through an app.
SUGA was involved in all stages of the product’s development including product definition, ideation, prototyping and testing. The product was awarded several patents and won numerous awards, including a Gold IDA (International Design Award).
The product was launched at CES in Las Vegas and is available through Amazon and other retail outlets around the world.
