SUGA Garners “The Silver Award For Youth Sqaure – The Most Creative Award” And “Advertising And Marketing Certificate Of Merit” At The Asia Smartphone Apps Contest 2015

(Hong Kong, 6 July 2015) – SUGA International Holdings Limited (“SUGA”/ “the Group”)(stock code: 912), a leading electronics total solutions provider, announced that its subsidiary SGI Venture Limited (“SGI”) has captured “Silver Award for Youth Sqaure – The Most Creative Award” and the “Advertising and Marketing Certificate of Merit” at The Asia Smartphone Apps Contest 2015 based on its creative smartphone app “PetNfans.” The contest was organized by the Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA) and sponsored by Create Hong Kong (CreateHK) of the Government of the HKSAR.

“PetNfans,” a social media platform dedicated to pet lovers, was launched in December, 2014. To date it has recruited more than 8,000 local pet lovers as members. “PetNfans” is the first “creating pet star” app in Hong Kong. It aims at providing an exchange forum for pet lovers to interact and to offer access to useful pet care information such as the details of different service providers and evaluation from other members. This app can be downloaded from Apple Store and Play Store.

The third Asia Smartphone Apps Contest (2015) was orgainized by the Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA) and sponsored by Create Hong Kong (CreateHK) of the Government of the HKSAR. It aims to recognize the excellence of innovative smartphone apps development and provide an outstanding international platform for the exchange of ideas in the industry. With co-orgainizers from seven Asian regions including Isreal, Japan, Korean, Mainland China, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan, the contest is a major event in the smartphone Apps industry.
